Portland acupuncture office, Monica specializes in acupuncture, microcurrent therapy, and Chinese herbology for facial rejuvenation,
pain management, stress reduction, weight control, aging issues, and preventive health care. MONICA'S EARLY EXPERIENCE WITH ACUPUNCTURE: “Years ago, I developed carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. Both of
my hands were numb, ice-cold, and ached constantly. I was considering a surgical solution for this painful condition, but
I had heard good reports about the use of acupuncture for joint pain, so I decided to try acupuncture first. I received seven
acupuncture and moxa treatments for my wrists. After the seventh treatment, my wrists were pain-free, and the feeling in my
hands had returned to normal. Over a decade has passed since that episode, and the carpal tunnel syndrome never returned.”
